I am currently part of the Design System team, contributing at a strategic level to the evolution and adoption of the system across the organization. Key responsibilities include:

· Helping the evolution of the Design System by improving existing components and leading the definition and creation of new, scalable components aligned with product and business needs.
· Establishing reusable templates and use cases of each component within the design system to increase consistency, efficiency, and alignment across cross-functional teams.
· Defining and refining interaction and behavioral patterns to ensure a cohesive, accessible, and predictable user experience across platforms.
· Leading the documentation of components aligned with BBVA’s new visual positioning and rebranding, translating brand principles into scalable system guidelines.
· Acting as a central point of reference for the Design System by managing and prioritizing Jira requests from multiple teams, balancing system quality, team needs, and long-term system integrity.
· Coordinating and guiding small teams, supporting decision-making, prioritization, and delivery.
· Designing and delivering internal training sessions on documentation standards and practices, strengthening system adoption.
